Privacy Policy

Qavrixelo is eight files on a server. It has no login, no database of visitors, no form and no analytics, and everything below follows from that. If you read only one paragraph, read this one: the site does not learn who you are, and the only way it could is if you write to it yourself.
1. The person accountable

The federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act applies to this site, together with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. Ontario has no separate private-sector privacy statute, so PIPEDA is the operative law here.
2. Everything that gets recorded, in one table
Rather than describe categories in the abstract, here is the complete list of what exists and why.

That is the whole inventory. There is no sixth row and no category held back for brevity.
3. What is not in that table
No analytics identifier, because there is no analytics. No advertising or remarketing tag. No profile, no segment, no inferred interest. No location beyond whatever an IP address implies to a server that never looks at it. No card number, expiry date or security code — an Interac e-Transfer runs between your bank and Daniel Taylor’s, and this domain has no payment page for one to be typed into.
There is also no form anywhere on the site. Nothing to submit, nothing to upload, no comment field and no sign-up. Reading a page here sends nothing about you beyond the HTTP request that fetches it.
4. The basis for each use
Server logs exist because a web server cannot function without writing them; PIPEDA treats that as reasonable for operating and securing a service, and the entries are never combined with anything else or used to identify a reader.
Email is processed on the basis of your own decision to send it. Ordering the notebook is a contract, and the correspondence exists to perform it: sending transfer details, confirming receipt, delivering the file.
Under CASL, no commercial electronic message is sent from this address. There is no list, no newsletter and no promotional sequence, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. A reply to your own email is not a marketing message.
5. Nothing is shared
Personal information is not sold, rented, traded, licensed or disclosed to advertisers, data brokers or anybody else. The only third party involved at all is the hosting provider, which stores the files and writes the logs described above, and the email provider that carries the messages.
Both may operate infrastructure outside Ontario and outside Canada. Where that is the case, the provider is bound by contract to protections comparable to those required here, and the information involved is limited to log lines and correspondence.
6. Links that leave the site
Pages here point at store listings for the applications they discuss. Google Play is operated by Google LLC under its own privacy policy, which this document neither controls nor extends. Once you follow a link off qavrixelo.com, what happens to your information is decided entirely by whoever runs the destination.
7. What you can require of us
PIPEDA gives you four practical rights here, and all four are honoured without argument:
- To be told whether any personal information about you is held, and to receive a copy of it.
- To have anything inaccurate or incomplete corrected.
- To withdraw a consent you previously gave, subject to legal limits and reasonable notice.
- To have your correspondence deleted, including before the twenty-four month point.
Write to [email protected] and say which you want. A first reply usually arrives inside a couple of business days; the request itself is completed within thirty days, which is the response window PIPEDA sets.
If the answer does not satisfy you, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada accepts complaints directly, and for matters falling under provincial legislation so does the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. Neither requires you to come back here first.
8. Changes
If the site changes in a way that affects anything above, this page is rewritten and the date at the top moves with it. Nothing is applied retroactively to information already deleted. Questions go to [email protected].
